Alex Rider Series

L:
Alex Rider is an amazing series of books and is very popular. These books are about a 14-year-old boy who is recruited to MI6, the british intelligence bureau Alex has to fight people from Africa, America, Italy, China, and all over the world. He lives with a maid named Jack Starbright who cares for him. His parents died, he went to his uncle, and he died. Alex's life is not so easy. There is some language, violence, and some mature themes in this series so I would recommend it to teens thirteen and over. I would give this book an overall four-an-a-half star rating.

Fallen Angels

L:
Fallen Angels is a very sad story about a young man who is serving his country and goes across seas to fight in the Vietnam War. Across his journey he loses friends, brothers and leaders. When he went into the war he was extremely wimpy and could not even fire his gun. But after the cruelty and violence of what happens in the war zone he is hardened into a first class soldier. All along his journey he is writing letter's back to his little brother in the United States. The writing in this story is beautiful and amazing. I would recommend this book for ages 17 and older due to some language, extremely graphic violence, and mature themes. Over all I would give this book four-and-a-half stars.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid

L:
Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a book about the every day life of an average pre-teen boy named Greg. Greg has all the struggles of a normal boy (home-work, friends, etc.). Greg has a little brother who plots schemes against him and is a perfect little angel when his mom is looking. He also has an older brother who has a heavy metal band, (Löded Diaper) who practices in the basement all day. Over all I would give this book a four-star rating.

J:
I love this book. It kept me hooked all the way through. I love the illustrations and the writing style is very good. This book is about a boy named Greg who is just entering his first year of middle school. As you can see from the picture, he hates it. His brother Rodrick and Manny do all they can to make his life miserable, both in there own unique way. His best friend Rowley, (who is not the brightest kid in the world) joins him in his epic adventure. All in all I'd give it a 4 four and a half star rating. Although I do suggest that the reader has reached a mature stage in life because of, (Questionable themes.)

Harry Potter Series

L:
The Harry Potter series is basically a series of books and movies telling of a boy who struggles with friends, has no parents, has a pair of evil relatives, and at the same time has an arch nemesis plotting to kill him. There are seven books in the series and all of them are well written and deserve to be read by all. Harry goes through many hard experiences and keeps pushing through all of it. At the end a sudden twist will shock you. Harry confronts his enemy bravely and is not afraid to stand up to the bully. With many deaths, love, violence, friendship and drama, this is a great series that every teenager will want to read one day in there life. I would rate this series an overall four-and-a-half stars.

Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief

L:
The first book of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is a great kickoff for a series about the demigods and the Olympians. the book is a story of love, friendship, and great battles. Basically the son of Poseidon is blamed by Zeus, the almighty ruler of Olympus, for stealing the master bolt. Though percy did not steal the bolt, he is given 14 days to return it to Zeus. This book is filled with epic adventures and will leave you on the edge of your seat the whole time. Overall I would rate this book four stars.
